How much does Wal-Mart charge for an eye exam and glasses?

My grandmother lost her glasses and we found them in the drive way and they had been ran over.. She is in need of a new pair. Her eye Dr. is really expensive. Someone told me to take her to Wal_mart.. If anyone has been there for an eye exam and glasses please let me know... Thanks

My eye exam was $49 a couple of weeks ago. I feel they did a very comprehensive exam and I am quite happy with their service.

the glasses, well, it depends on the prescription, cost of frames, & chosen options.  

I wanted very light frames with a narrow rectangular shape.  The frames weren't too expensive, but because I chose narrow, it caused the price of the lenses to be higher for the kind I need.  If I were getting single vision, it would be a lot cheaper than the no line progressive lenses I chose.  The price did include a no glare and scratch resistant finish, but as an option I wanted the kind that changed to tinted when in the sunlight.  

Prices on glasses can vary greatly based on these variables.  Overall, I was impressed.

The exame is $60, the glasses range in price. It just depends on what her rx is for the glasses and the style she wants and if she wants extra--like shading,ect.

Just had an eye exam there last week it cost me almost $76 and then I got contacts wich was another $ 45 on top of the exam but last year i got glasses and the just depended on the style of frames and type of lense but mine was around 175 dollars im sure it has went up since then...
