How much does Welfare or Food Stamps cost our country on a monthly or yearly basis?

I can only find percentages, not an actual figure. I am trying to do some research on spending in America.

you arer not going to be able to get actual figures because it will not show the illegals figures in there. I did see a pie chart but it only went back to like 1999 so I don't know how often they update them

The last report actually made public via the internet was in August of 2001 and those figures are obsolete.

I can't find the current figure, but when you look at  our budget as a pie, the wefare and food stamp portion is a tiny sliver.
