  1. it probably weighs one ounce and its 99.99 pure. beats me why they can never get it 100%. same thing with lysol. but yeah i have a silver coin from the munich olympics that weighs one ounce and is 99.99 pure

  2. 99.9%

  3. not quite sure what a 10 $ gold piece weighed in 26 but I know mine which was minted back in 1889 was 99.9 percent pure

  4. Actually the 1795-1804 $10 gold eagles were a under a different standard. No gold eagles were struck from 1805-1837. From 1848 to 1933 the standard for the $10 eagle was total weight 16.718 grams of .900 gold .100 copper 27 mm in diameter with a net weight of .48375 oz of actual gold. Remember precious metals are weighed using the Troy system. Values per ounce are given on the London gold exchange and usually in news papers. Hope this helps.

  5. Your gold coin should weight 16.718 grams and is composed of 90% gold and 10% copper for a net weight of .48375 oz of gold. All gold Eagles ($10.00 pieces) since the 1797 Heraldic Eagle design have the same composition and weight.
