How much does a 20,40,60, and 80 gig PS3 Cost?will any of them have a price cut in 08/09?

The 20 and 60 have been discontinued for quit a while. If you can find one new somewhere, it will likely run you $750-900.

The 80 is $499

The 40 is $399

Sometime this Fall, probably September, the 80 will be discontinued, and the 40 will be given an extra 40GB of hard drive space (but the price will remain the same. That's the only move being made in 08.

OK, well heres the way things are;

20GB - No longer in production

40GB - £290, (you usually get a game free with that)

60GB - No longer in production

80GB - £300 (pre order price, comes out on 27/08/08)

If you really wanted to, you could find a 20GB or 60GB ps3 on e-bay or in a second hand shop, those kind of places, but there not common and they can only be second hand.

As for a price cut, if a buyer compare's the 40gb and 80gb prices, its near certain that an average person will go for the 80gb console as you can gain backwards compatability, 40gb extra memory, 2 more usb slots and a few other extra features for £10.

I wouldn't be suprised to see the price of the 40gb console go down to around £250 but nothings been officially confirmed by Sony, only time will tell.

The 20 and 60 gb models have been discontinued but I can give you the prices.

20 gb = $500

60 gb = $600

that was when they were first released

40 gb = $400

80 gb = $500

Soon, in the fall they are going to discontinue the 40 gb and only have two 80 gb's for sale. The new 80 gb will be called "core" and will be a stripped down version of the current 80 gb. And it will cost $400 as the 40 does now. Hope this helped.

they dont make the 20 and the 40 and 60 will also be out of production once all units are soldbest bet buy  a 40 now thats all you need and its only 399

I've never heard of the 20 gig but the 40 gig is $399 the 60 gig is $449 and the 80 gig is $499. idk when the next price cut will be.
