How much does a Divorce Lawyer make?Hourly or Annually?

And any other types of Lawyers. I want to know what has the shortest school period, anything you know but mostly Money.

  1. It all takes the same amount of time. You also need to work for someone else before you can branch out on your own, There is nothing that is "cookie cutter" about divorce court. It takes a ton of work, and VERY long hours to do the job correctly. Every case is a new one, as though it were the first one to ever be tried in court. Been there, and done that, so, if you want a fairly lonely existence due to the work load, have at it. If not, find a different profession because case work will always require a lot of study, unless you simply become a public defender.


  2. In the u.s., law school last 3 years after college.  There is no special shorter school as all lawyers get the same license.  There is also no standard pay scale.  Lawyers are in the business of selling time, advice and skill.  How much they can make is dependent upon too many factors to list.
