How much does a Hooters girl make in Los Angeles?

I'm sick of slaving away at a 9-5, and putting off school. I had a cousin who was a Hooter's girl all through college in LA, and she managed pretty well, shopped like crazy even. I'm not expecting to make a fortune or anything, just go to school, afford my necessities, including a small car payment and half the rent. If there are any Hooters girls out there, what do you bring home in an average week? A really good week?

I work at a Hooters near Chicago. We get paid around $4.35 an hour plus tips. On a good day shift (11-5) I make about $70-$100. However there are BAD days, when I leave with about $40. Night shifts I make more, about $100 to $125, but then again there are BAD nights. Also Hooters makes you pay for your uniforms, name tags and nylons. You also have to tip out the bus boys and kitchen a % of your tips. And you have to pay 50% of all food you eat. Like any waitress there are days when you bank and days when you hardly make enough. However, I think Hooters is a fun job to have and the hours allow you to go to school or work another job. Just make sure you have thick skin, guys will be guys and you have to have a sence of humor to be a hooters girl. lol

I don't know, but they must do good with tips, why not waitress at a popular Beverly Hills restaurant or another exclusive restaurant...you can make bank.
