  1. c.) they did make a convertible, its called a spyder, but they are rare and hard to find

  2. they stopped making them in 2001

price ranges depends on which model you get, the vr4 is the best model = alll wheel drive plus twin turbo you can get the 3000gt sl for cheap these days. if you are gonna buy tis car i might as well tell you know its not easy to fix or cheap to maintain so be sure of that before you go buy 1

  3. Craigslist!!

  4. A.)  In the USA they stop making them in 1999.  A brand new one back then could set you back $40K.

B.)  You have to buy them used.  It depends on the year and the trim.  The Base 3000GT comes with a weak SOHC engine that gets around 160hp.  You can find one of these around for less then $5K.

The 3000GT SL gets a DOHC engine and the power comes in around 220hp.  Better, but unless you get a manual you are looking at a slow car (0-60 in over 8 second according to car and driver).  The newer the year, the more the car is.  Around $7-$10K for one in good condition.

The 3000GT VR-4 Twin Turbo is the top of the line.  Power comes in at around 310 hp and the car is all-wheel drive.  A very fast car (0-60 in 4.8 second according to car and driver) but very expensive.  These cars are rare and if you find a decent one the price is usually around $20K.

C.)  Yes, there is a hard top convertible that came in a limited production the last year they were in the USA.  These are more rare than the VR-4 and sell for about $25K.
