How much does a Plato's Closet type thrift store owner make in a year? ?

I'm wondering if it would be a good venture for myself and/or someone I know. Is going into this sort of business worth it, money-wise?

That it dependent on location of the store, successful marketing by the store owner, and proper management of the store.

Have you managed a business before?  Have you worked in a clothing store before?  Have you successful marketed a product before?  A 'no' indicates an area that you will need experience in before ownership if you wish to be successful immediately.

If you have no knowledge of the above three skills, you can expect to lose money until you learn.  If you know two of them, you can break even if you're in a great location.
