If I lost my phone with my SIM card, how do I buy a new one? I have the ATandT family plan. How much would a SIM card cost? Can I put my number on my new SIM card? Thank you!

  1. They're usually free and all you have to pay for is the plan you're signing up for. That's how it was when I bought my cousin, who was visiting for the summer, a prepaid plan with AT&T.


  2. Contact your operator's customer support and declare the SIM lost/stolen otherwise you will have nice surprises in the next bill.

    As for getting the new one you will likely get one for free from the same operator/carrier, you cannot buy it from anywhere else.

  3. I got a perfectly good one  on ebay and it was only $5.00 [; it was never used and in good condition.
