Pretty straight forward question. What is the starting salary and does it increase over the years? Also what schooling does it require? Any additional details are appreciated.

Psychiatry is a better option if you want to make money. Usually 5 years of tertiary education required, rates of pay vary depending on your working situation. It's not an easy subject.
