  1. of course you can share the price with whoever will ride the gondola with you.

tip...they are expensive, but you can try to bring the price down, try to approach the gondoliere saying " I have 50 euro what kind of ride can i get??"(don't go under 50 euro, most likely they will ask you for 60 or 70).

as u see every body is giving u different prices because there is not a fix one,so try to get a deal...good luck!!

  2. The cost of the ride depends on how busy they are and the point from which you hire the boat. Make a few inquiries before you book and remember there is room to negotiate. We paid €60 for 3 in May of last year.

  3. ran about a hundred dollars for a half hour or so last time I was there.  That's changed a bit though (increased) since I haven't been there in two years and in that time the prices may have raised while the value of the dollar vs the Euro has dropped.  I would expect somewhere around or slightly above 100 dollars along more popular areas like the rialto, etc.  Might be slightly less if you catch one at a less mainstream area.

  4. Our club went to Venice, and to cut costs we all got in the same gondola.

Although there was 23 of us it was okay till Big Bertha got in.

You'll never guess what happened to the blokes pole!
