Well... My english teacher use to tell us that the cost from birth to 18 years is around 100,000 (thats american).. and was a few years ago..so it's prob. well over that now..

Not sure if he was telling to truth and it was something he read somewhere or if he was trying to scare us from being teenage mothers.. haha!

As little of as much as you want.  You could buy a couple of baby gowns at yard sales and they would fit until six months old and cost less than $5.  You could get a couple packages of cloth diapers for $10.  You could breastfeed and that is free....so $15.

You could buy a whole new wardrobe every three months for $200.  You could buy diapers every month for $100.  You could buy formula and bottles which would cost $150 a month.

Aunt Webby you got ripped off!  Toys R Us is so overpriced.  I got my babies off of Ebay for $4.99.  They were pre-owned with a few scratches but I'm pleased none the less.

well, with diapers being approx. 10$ a pack of 100, about a pack a week or so, and with formula and clothes and shoes and everything else they need, multiplied by 18 years......................................

that equals about what you would make in 18 years... lol.
