  1. Just get a Squier P - Bass starter pack has everything you need in it and is not to expensive!

  2. this is perfect, sounds great, easy to play, and inexpensive

  3. I would suggest a squier by fender.

Good starter and not to spendy.

  4. Around 250-600 dollars would get you a good starter bass guitar.

  5. go to your closest pon shop

  6. avoid pawn shops they are a rip off they are not cheaper and they come with no warranty or technical help if something should go wrong.

go to a nice independant music store. They will set you up for anywhere from $200 to 4 or 5 or 600...depending on where you want to start (remember though, you need an amp too, a strap, strings, picks and a cord...and tax....those -for a starter level set up- should be another minimum of $350

So maybe $550  to get started ??  for whole rig.

(thats about as cheap as gets, and it'll be used --BUT-> will be backed by a guy who can help ,and fix little things, and will be there whenever you may  need, and will even let you trade up later.)

You'll likely get a real decent instrument and be happy.

Your music store is your friend and a hangout a bit even-will meet other musicians to jam with if want there too!  Enjoy.

Bass players are in demand(bands need them.

Learn some lead guitar like licks on it, to be hot. and interesting.

  7. Well this is not like a typical guitar so you are going to have issues finding this type of a guitar! Basically you are looking at 200-300 dollers used and around 400-500 unused!

  8. You can buy a used bass guitar for a great price.  I highly recommend buying used.  Get a music friend to help if possible.  If you buy used you can get a higher quality instrument probably for the same money.

It's important to start with a good bass.  If you start on c**p, it will sound like c**p.

For used, you could pay as little as a 150-200.  And this may be a a guitar originally worth 400 dollars.  Sometimes people  need money fast.  So they sell cheaply.

    Good luck!

  9. You can get a bottom of the line one for 100 dollars.  I would reccomend one for more than that, more like 200-350 dollars, because a 100 dollar one will be very cheaply made and not effective really.  But you should go to a music store and try a few of the cheaper ones out to see what has a good feel and what one you like.  Good luck!

  10. about 300$

  11. For a beginner bass you can count on paying between 200-250. You can probably find a few that are cheaper but they are completely worthless.
