How much does a bike rental cost?

I only have 17 dollars on me and i only want a bike for about 4 hours?. Also do you have to be 18 to rent a bike?

My shop charged a flat rate of $25 a day for a mid level mountain bike, one hour or all day, same rate.  And we never took a deposit. ..

You've had it I'm afraid- they always ask for a deposit which is far in excess of $17 to cover any possible damage to the bike.
