How much does a brace cost on the nhs because my dentist is telling me it will cost thousands,i'm 21.?

  1. it does cost thousands. I had to gt mine twice but because i got them in couple of months before 16th birthday i didnt have to pay :D

    I can't remember the exact figure but it was certainly up there in the thousands

    rememberr all the x-rays and stuff

  3. A brace on the NHS is free to the patient , however is only available to those under the age of 18

  4. all the checkups and everything add up to thousands unless u have really good insurance, then u only pay some of the money depending on how much the insurance company covers. like my insurance covers i think 50 % or something.

  5. Depends on how long your having your braces for. It will usually cost 1500 bucks for top and an extra 1500 for your bottom teeth, and have them on for about 1 year. But every orthodonist is different.
