How much does a cell phone affect a personality? what kinds of impression do you get?

Cell phones don't affect personality they affect the impression people have of you. It is seen as rude to walk around constantly texting and phoning people while your in the company of others. Its seen as being a bad form of communication as you never really have to communicate with someone one on one but then the same thing could be said about the internet, the invention of email, IM conversations and chat rooms. there all basis of forming communication with people you wouldn't or couldn't have a conversation with normally. People are in effect more accepting of different cultures, befoer the invention of mobile phones or the interent you could only talk to those who you knew, now you can talk to just about anyone!

The birth of the cell phone has created many issues in personality and communication. It can be used as a controlling tool. It can become a source of codependency. It can instigate seclusion and withdrawal. Even fear. When will come the day when we wont be able to look someone in the eye ??? The cell also creates many impressions. The implications of rudeness, inconsideration, and intrusive.
