  1. i'm not positive on this but i think someone said it was 50 lbs +

  2. From what it says on most car warnings, 12 and over.

If I had to venture a guess. I'd say at least 90-100 pounds.

  3. I am not exactly sure on weight but I believe they have to be in the back seat until 10 years old or so.....

  4. It varies by state:

If you're not sure, call your local office of the department of motor vehicles.

  5. In NJ the law is 8 yrs or 80 lbs.

    1. BEFORE YOUR FIRST BIRTHDAY LESS THAN 20 POUNDS REAR-FACING INFANT-ONLY CAR SEAT OR CONVERTIBLE SEAT USED IN REAR-FACING POSITION, SECURED IN THE BACK SEAT OF THE CAR.

    2. 20–35 POUNDS CONVERTIBLE SEAT USED IN REAR-FACING POSITION, SECURED IN THE BACK SEAT OF THE CAR. LOOK FOR A CHILD SAFETY SEAT THAT IS RECOMMENDED FOR HEAVIER INFANTS.
