Find out how much it weighs in ounces or grams first....

say it weighs  2 grams hypothetically.

Remember 28 grams = 1ounces or the conversion factor is

28 grams/ounce

so 28 is to 1 as 2 is to X  (written 28:1::2:x as a proportion)

same as 28/1=2/x

solving for x gives   x=2/28 = 1/14 = 0.0714 ounces

As you can see this starting to be a very small pound since there are 16 ounces in a pound (dry weight)

conversion factor is 16oz/lb=1 or 16 oz=1 lb

so we have 16:1::0.0714:x  (proportion)

16=0.0714/x

Solving for x gives    x=0.0714/16 = 0.0044625 pound

written scientifically:  4.45x10^-3 pounds

Could be called 4.45 millipounds (approximate wt of a dime)

Google used a more precise number than 453.6

for grams per lb.

If you use 453.6, you get .005 exactly,

or 200 dimes = 1 lb.  200 x 2.268 = 453.6.
