  1. Well, I can't speak for a doctor or dentist. In respect of a lawyer in the UK, a trainee solicitor on the high street normally earns SRA minimum (approx 13k). A fully qualified solicitor on high street will be earning from 20k-30k. Eventually, could potentially be earning £50k once they get many years of experience behind them.

    In the city however, well... depending on who you are working for a trainee could be earning to start with £20k and then a qualified would be earning £40-50k. No idea what it goes upto! Would imagine that it would be quite a lot.
