How much does a fantom vacuum FM310k cost?

new? used?...are these models still being sold in the store and is it a good vacuum???....

Im a member of Consumer Reports and I try to follow their lead when it comes to purchasing things like vacuum cleaners and such. I have a lot of carpet and TERRIBLE allergies. I went with their number one choice the Kenmore Progressive and have had great results. While its not cheap (around $250.00), it is wonderful at cleaning and its great for allergy sufferers. I guess it depends on how long you plan to keep your vacuum. If you are gonna have it for a while I would definitely recommend the Progressive. Good Luck!

I tried to look online and all I saw for a Fantom Vacuum was a Fantom Twister and is costs $99.99 at overstock.com.

This is what the details about it said:

I noticed that they had Fantoms at our Walmart one day. I've also seen them at Kmart. I'm not certain if it was a fantom vacuum FM310k. I used to own a Fantom when they first came out. It was the best vacuum cleaner I have ever had. I had a pastors wife friend who didn't have a vacuum and was always borrowing her neighbors vacuum so I gave her mine. I had seen that Kenmore had a vacuum similar to mine but you could wash the heppa filter and I thought "Well that's a good idea and I hate having to buy those filters." Well I have never had another vacuum cleaner as good as my Fantom. I don't know if the new ones are as good but that one honestly made my carpet look newer the more I used it. I miss it.

Mine was a Fury. This is supposed to be the new Fury. And the filter is supposed to last 7 years. I had to replace mine every year.http://www.fantomvacuums.net/Fury/index....

I'd buy another one except I barely have any carpet and am planning to get rid of what I have so I'll just stick with my overpriced crappy vacuums.

I can't find the FM310 listed any place. Is that the model number or something and not the actual name? Here is a web site that has a link to manuals. Maybe you can look at the pictures and see if one of those vacuums looks like the one you are referring to....
