  1. It depends on many things. Where is he stationed, how much time in service does he have, was he prior enlisted. I was a 1LT in the Army, made the same as a 1LT in the Marines, a LTJunior Grade in the Navy, and a 1LT in the Air Force.

    Minimum base pay for a 1LT a month (usually have over 2 years time in service) is $3,353 a month. Depending on where he lives add about 800-1300 a month for housing cost of living, and around 500 a month for food allowance. So I would say average of $4,500 Month.

    If he has had prior service enlisted time it could be as much as $4,718 a month base pay add the 800-1300 month for housing and 500 for food. $6,500 a month. That would be an O-2E with around 14 years in service.
