How much does a full respray cost in the UK?

On an estimate how much do you think it costs for a full metalic paint respray?

I've just had a quotation of £200 -£220 for a '93 BMW R100GS i.e includes three-piece headlight faring.

Also includes second front mudguards and a larger plastic fuel tank

I must dismantle the parts and prepare the surface by sanding.

My Boyfriend managed his whole car (Audi Cabriolet - Older one). And he did it all for around £100 at max, I do believe. :) Depends if you go to a shop to get it done, if you do it's around £800!

It depends if you want trick stuff on top of the metallic paint or if you want a race rep job done, you will have to get quotes from several garages or by lots of spray cans and practice hard.

For a car, anywhere between £500 - £1200 if you get it done properly at a garage. It can be done cheaper but won't last anywhere near as long and so is not as cost effective. I see this is in Motorcycles - I wouldn't know for a bike I'd guess at £300 - £800 because obviously its smaller than a car but more fiddly. Good luck. =]

it depends what bike you have, sports bike, cruiser, retro, do you want genuine colour or one of your choice. mid range top class job for a retro or cruiser no more than £600 for race rep about £800
