It depends where you work, in the North West of WA you can easily earn $3000-4000 per week, plus you get tax benefits for living in a remote location.  With qualifications the wages can go up to $6000.

depends on qualifications ect, in WA or SA you can be on a fair bit, it's long hours but you tend to get a fair bit on time off aswell.  Most companies now will fly you home a couple of times a year free of charge and some are actually providing places to live and food ect.

It is lonely, but well worth the money.  I have heard that some people are make about 160 thousand a year.
