It depends entirely on the make and quality of the guitar. You can probably find cheap ones for under $100, but real good quality guitars sell for thousands.

I have a 25 year old 12-string guitar that I paid $200 way back when.

Anything from $50 or so so up to a few mil.  How much you want to pay?

A good beginner guitar that's not is the toy range should be $100 to $600.

it depends on the guitar brand and store i would say that the average guitar costs around $850 to $1000
