How much does a heating and cooling unit cost(approx.)?

Question

The home is about 1500-1800 sq. ft. and is just one floor(no basement). The ductwork is already in place I just need the units replaced. I am having a few estimates done, but I just wanted another opinion from somebody else that maybe just recently had this done. I appreciate any and all feedback. Thanks.

4500$-7500$ depending on the make and SEER rating of the units.

I had all of mine changed out in 2000 and it cost me 3800.I just had to replace the outside unit and inside coil and it was 2700.Hope this helps.I live in Texas
