bwj is right, the standard for a jockey is 10% of the horse's winnings.

They also get a flat rate fee for riding the horse regardless of whether it wins or comes last.  In GB the fee for flat jockeys is around £95 (approx $190) and for jump jockeys is about £120 (approx $235).
