It depends on the size of the market, the size of the station, the revenue of the station and the experience of the radio personality.  There is no one "blanket" answer - a radio announcer in Joplin, MO's largest radio station will make much less than an announcer in Philadelphia, PA at a smaller one.


  2. Depends on the station.  Many times, DJs earn minimum wage while on the air or while doing appearances, but they make big money doing advertisement voice-overs.
