It all depends on what type of management job. Most places have shift managers which is hourly, general or asst. or market or regional managers are salary. When you go salary you discuss at your interview what you would like to be payed ,and what they will pay you. I worked at both hourly and salary.I chose to go shift because of all the hours I had to put in as an asst.  manager, I made more money as a shift. But newer managers are making good money. So you have to weigh the pros and cons. I worked for kfc , taco bell for 18 years, so I made a good hourly rate.So don`t settle for less then what you want believe me they will start out low, so don`t settle. Good luck.
