How much does a manual transmission cost for a 2005 mustang?

Depends on what you need?  Do you need just the transmission?  Do you also need the clutch and flywheel?  Do you already have one in the mustang or are you converting from a stick to a manual?  Is it going to be a six speed or a five speed (GT/Cobra or 6 clyinder?)  On average, I've seen the whole transmission go for about 1500 dollars, sometimes cheaper, check on craiglist in your local area or ebay motors for good used ones
