How much does a meal cost in UK?

Meal would be lunch or dinner !!

If prices vary by place, i'm particularly looking for cost in Bridgend.

the currency change in the uk is x2

so what you would pay $10 for in the US would be $20 in the UK

it is double what ever you would pay in the US

take my word for it because I was just in London

Prices vary enormously.

Even in London there are restaurants where you can get a two course meal for around £10 per head. It's probably more usual to pay between £15-£30 per head. On the other hand some of the best and/or the most famous restaurants charge anything from £50 upwards.

(Note; if you want to eat cheaply, drink tapwater with your meal. Tapwater is usually free, and is quite safe, and soft drinks and bottled water are sometimes overcharged.)

I went to Canterbury one time, and even their McDonalds is expensive, if i convert it, it's around $6-7 for a big mac meal!
