  1. Depends on where you live and what kind of facility you work in. Hospitals pay more than clinics or nursing homes in most cases. Pay is also higher on the east coast, and in sunshine states like California, Florida, Arizona, etc. But cost of living is often higher in these places so you might not be better off making a higher wage.

    I'd say average right now is probably anywhere from $22-$35 per hour, with most places paying more like $25-$30 per hour.
