  1. In Queensland a first year constable should make somewhere around $50k (inc allowances).

A senior Constable (around 6 yrs service) with special duties (overtime privately paid for) can make upward of $90k

  2. Australia is broken up into States and Territories. Each State/Territory has their own Police Force, and every one has their own pay rates and pay scales for ranks.

Generally speaking straight out of the Police Academy an officer can earn around $45-50,000 (AUD) as a base salary. Obviously years of service, qualifications and higher ranks increase in pay. As an example, an Inspector can earn around $100-120,000.

  3. Depends what state your talking about

  4. 50k is the best you will do... it's a S**t job unless you know how to work the system.

You can easily earn 500k plus a year if you do some special overtime. Selling certain things you've picked up, and working with some of the people you've met through the line of duty.
