  1. It all depends on how good you are and how well you're sponsored. It can range anywhere from 5,000 to 20,000 dollars. Just like a regular job, you start off low, and work your way up the pay scale.

  2. Floyd Mayweather got $7,000 dollars in his 3rd pro fight

Oscar De La Hoya got about $30,000 in his first pro fights.......................keep in mind they both won olympic medals and were very popular

  3. super-middleweight and light-heavy weight champion joe calzaghe got paid very little during his first fights lik £300-£500 because he hadnt got enough publicity

  4. As someone mentioned, it depends on popularity and sponsor. There have been many fighters who started out making as little as $500 in one fight. Some will go ten or fifteen fights and still not reach a $15,000 purse. Those same fighters in some cases may actually have 9-to-5 jobs to make a living as well, because they are not getting enough from boxing itself.

  5. The average joe boxer fighting in his first fight will make any where from 600.00 to 1500 that is it for a 4 round fight.
