  1. Mike...I have no idea what your amps rating has to do with the cost of installing them?  I don't think you need to worry too much about getting a shop to install this stuff.  It's not all gloom and doom here?  Go to a local shop tell them the situation and you know what...be honest with them.  Tell them you have most of the components short of the various wiring, cables and power distribution.  Tell them you need a box built and I'm guessing you may end up needing a cap also,  it's hard to tell without knowing your vehicle and electrical system.  Either way, you're not screwed, just looking for someone who will help you out.  I think your estimate is close but I would plan for another $200 or so.  I think you may end up closer to $600 or $700 depending on shop rates and how much cabling, etc, you need.  Take care man.

  2. Many shops will include the cost of installation with the price of stereo, amp, speakers, etc.

You should have checked before you bought the parts.

    Good Luck...

  3. depends on if the 1500 is rms or max is say  700

  4. An installation is a waste of money.

    Prices:

    1 Amplifier: $70

    4 Speakers: $40

    Head Unit: $50

The youll have to pay for the wires...
