How much does a quality, nothing fancy, jetski cost?

Any other info. about jetski costs, maintenance, buying, or where to buy one would be appreciated!

(I live in Ohio, if it matters.)

a friend of mine just bought a yamaha new 2008 for around $6800. find a new on the showroom last years models or another brand like honda will be less. seadoo will cost ya plenty. salt water use will up the maintenance costs, but most of them can be reasonable to maintain but high to run. seadoo has a special oil that costs out the ^$$.
