  1. There is an extremely detailed post on the BBC website for an assistant producer -  the salary ranges from £23,700 - £44,000 annually depending on experience (and being based in London). The link is below. A quicker link goes to the Jobs page where you can search for specifics and a further link to pay scales:

They do offer an great opportunity in their unpaid "work placements" (in the US: internships). These offer an opportunity to try out the business and see if you like it:

    Pay scales are at:

In the US it s totally dependent on the market size (city), size of the station, popularity of the show and whether syndication is involved. There is no concrete answer. As the other answerer implicates, it's a talent business and it's going to depend on your talent level and whether you have an agent to negotiate for you. An educated guess would be anywhere from $18,000 per year to well over $100k.

  2. here in canada it could be 50 thousand to 100 thousand

  3. There are too many variables to give you a concrete answer: the size and popularity of the radio station and broadcasters, etc... It's almost like trying to tell you much an actor gets paid, it truly depends on the actor.
