Anyone know how much a sheet of 3/4" MDF (medium density fiberboard) is going for these days at Home Depot or Lowes?

Next time you're out take a look, I'm in Afghanistan and there are none nearby!

  1. I don't know about De pot, but have a look at http://www.lowes.com/lowes/lkn?action=pr...  Punch in your zip code and go.  Price isn't bad, but shipping will be a bear.

  2. Just got some today..under 20.00..at our Lowes here on the coastal bend of Texas.

  3. No MDF in Afghanistan? Maybe it all goes to Pakistan?

One sheet (4' x 8') of 3/4" MDF will cost about $30 here in Los Angeles.

But I do not think you should come here to get one. It'd be kinda expensive to fly out here just for that, and they may not let you take back in your luggage .

You definitely won't be able to take it as carry on.

Don't they have lumberyards over there?

    Maybe you could use plywood?

  4. 25 or 30 bucks
