  1. Here the three string bales weight 90 to 130 pounds.  I have seen those round ones while i was on a farm in New York and those things are huge, they needed a machine to move them.

  2. small bale weighs 80 lbs., the rolls weigh 1000 and 2000 lbs.

  3. Square bales usualy weigh around 45-80 LBs depending on the bailer.

  4. depends on the type of hay. grass hay is much lighter than alphalpha.  different balers bale different sizes, also...

  5. mine weigh about 20-25kg abouts

    round ones not sure

  6. which size are you talking about, there is 2 string that weighs about 65 pounds,3 string that weighs about 75 pounds and 4x4x8 bales that weigh about 1800 to 2000 pounds depending on moisture content and grass or alfalfa content.large round bales also weigh from 1800 to 2000 pounds.

  7. Depends on the baling method and the type of hay.

Here...a 2 strand bale can be as light as 35-40 pounds.

The average for quality grass hay, 2 strand, is 75 pounds.

The average for 3 strand grass hay is 115 pounds

The average for 3 strand alfalfa is 135 pounds.

That's for around here.  We don't have round bales available for this area.

  8. It really depends on the baler and type of hay.  On average I'd say the square bales (you mean the small ones right?) are about 50-60 lbs.  Round bales should weigh a ton.

  9. a square one weighs like 80lbs i dunno about round but their real heavy lol
