  1. We went on a Disney cruise last year and it was the BEST vacation we ever had! As far as cost, we had a category 4 stateroom on deck 8, which accomodated 5 of us, and it had a balcony as well. Our total price with taxes, fees, etc... was $3000 for all of us. We booked our cruise through Expedia.com and could not have been happier! You can go on Disneycruise.com and they will send you a free DVD! If you want to know specific prices of other rooms, you can always just type in your numbers such as number of guests, etc.. and it will give you the prices.

  2. That's is pretty impossible to answer. rates can as much as double between weeks because of high and low season, holidays, special itineraries.

On the Disney boats suites are in HIGH demand and usually have to be reserved well in advance (often prior to 2 year before sailing). They are given only off of the waitlist or if you are lucky a cancellation may come up. You can fax Disney cruiseline inventory control to get on a waitlist. Include the dates you want to sail (this would be for 2010 sailings as up through 2009 suites are pretty booked) and they will call you when the date opens to book, with a price quote. At that time you can decide to book or not.

We have sailed in Cat 9's twice. Pretty far from a suite, but an oceanview room that we loved (and we typically stay pretty deluxe). It costs far less money, you still enjoy the same ship, and no hoops to jump through and you can reserve for as soon as this year. When we sail again as a family of 5 we will reserve 2 staterooms and still save over a suite.

Allseastravel.com is an excellent agency. If you call they they will walk you through all the pros and cons of all the different stateroom category levels, prices, itineraries and best dates to travel. Their prices usually beat booking thru Disney directly by over $1000. I have used them 2x and feel very comfortable recommending them.

The Disney cruise is hands down the most family friendly, relaxing and fun for everyone vacation that we've taken with our kids (and they've been to Hawaii, Italy, Africa, Disneyland and DisneyWorld, etc).

I hope you find something that works for you!

  5. Check out this website. www.disneycruise.com

  6. We had a 2 bedroom suite on Disney Wonder for the 3 night cruise.  It was $1800 per person - and there were 3 of us.   So - $5400 for the cruise.

Disney is expensive - but well worth it.
