well my girl wants me to go vist her but i dont have a ride so i would rather take a taxi than a bus since ive never been in 1 and from were i live its 21.8 mi – about 32 mins from her house so i want to know how much that would be plus the trip back home??

No problem.  Check out http://www.taxifarefinder.com/ and go to its Dallas page.  It'll allow you to calculate the duration, distance, and estimated fare for the trip.  You type in address A and address B.  it'll take you 15 seconds.
