I will have a second class honous degree with a masters and h dip in education.

  1. I used to be one, have left it now as the work was too inconsistent and by the next two years i should be earning what the average secondary school teacher earns after 25 years.

    Work is so hard to get and when you do get it , you have no respect from parents or pupils, do yourself a favour and get out, i have not looked back once, I feel better when I come home from work as I know i will have work in september and I dont have to jump hoops for some principal in order to get an extension for work of a permanent job.

    In a lot of civil and public jobs it can depend on your qualifications and the amount of experience you have. There is a 2.5% increase due on the 1st September - think thats the end of the increases for a while....
