It depends on the restaurant but I don't think cooks make much. Probably minimum wage but I'm just guessing.

in victoria a base food and beverage two is 12.11 per hour, 14 something sat 16 something sunday- thats for an 18 year old under 18 is less over 18 is more, it depends on the award your working under and your bosses interpretation of the pay scale levels- or food and beverage levels, but for cooking you should be on no less than level 2- if your on an apprenticeship you get alot less until your qualified- hope that helps, or ring wage line
