How much does a tight bore barrel improve your airsoft gun?

I am wondering how much it will improve your gun in terms of range(I don't expect it to), accuracy(will I be able to efficiently get people popping out their heads at sizeable distances), and fps(I have a classic army Steyr AUG chronoed at 314 fps, what will it be after a tight bore barrel is installed?)

Atight bored barrel is really just a barell within .01 mm of the actual size of the bb. Cheap guns usually use barrels around .1 mm of the size of the bb. When the barrel is smaller like this, it ends up making the bb fly a little bit straighter, and therefor more accurate. coincidentaly, when the bb is mor accurate, it might improve the range a bit as well, but it won't improve the velocity of the gun.

Depending on what kind of tightbore you buy, range and fps may differ. Personally I use a DBC 6.01mm tightbore, which ups the fps about 10-15, thus making the range a bit farther too. DBC tightbores are one of the only brands to make such a small barrel. The smaller the barrel is, the tighter the airflow pressure are, which keeps the BB going straight and far.  Where it really shines in is accuracy. I can hit a quarter consistently from 50-75 feet with my gun in a vice. Stock barrels are usually somewhere around 6.05-6.08mm in diameter, the BB of course being about 6mm. I would recommend the DBC tightbore, though PDI and Prometheus barrels are right up there. In my opinion tightbores are the first thing that should be upgraded in a gun.

Keep in mind though that if you do decide to buy one, there is a brake in period when you buy it, so be patient. You will also need to clean it  more often.

A tight bore barrel is a hole just a bit bigger than the bb bullet itself. a wide barrel is about 1 cm across. From the point of firing to leaving the barrel the bullet spins around the barrel it can move. The movement in a tight bore barrel is restricted to less than 1 mm, also most bb fields have speed restrictions mostly less than 450 fps, but in my country ) thailand) they don't really care so people push it up to 500 if they can. but 380-450 is a good speed.

A tip, if your AUG is the 2G it will be hard to modify
