It depends on the area of the tooth and the difficulty of the extraction. It is actually the cheapest option sometimes. Not exactly sure of price, but you can go in and get a treatment estimate at many offices.

It really ranges depending on the degree of difficulty and the dentist. I had one tooth extracted, without any complications, and freezing only, for about $100. I had another tooth pulled that was complicated. My mouth was frozen, plus I had laughing gas, and I was put under. That tooth cost about $1000.

So it can really range!! Go to a dentist for a check up to get an estimate.

Out of pocket....it depends on the dentist.  Some give you a discounted rate if you have no insurance to cover it.  The only thing you can do is call different places and compare the rates.

It will vary from dentist to dentist.  Expect to pay somewhere between $100 and $300 if you are going in as a patient without insurance.  If you call a few offices they should be able to give you some idea.  Some dentists will consider a payment plan if it is an emergency and you don't have the money.  You may need a credit card number for them to do that.  Best of luck with it.
