  1. Yes, everyone is right. Admission to the Pantheon is free. My family rented an apartment overlooking the Pantheon - fabulous! It was a great location; we walked to almost everything - Vatican, Spanish Steps, Villa Borghese, Piazza Navona (market), Piazza Venezia, Via del Corso, etc.

    Enjoy!

  2. You can go by yourself with a LonelyPlanet or similar: entrance is totally FREE

  3. The entrance is free

  4. mssinmymind is right. The Pantheon is free. It's also one of my favorite places. While you're in that area, Santa Maria Sopra Minerva is also worth going into.

  5. To enter the Pantheon is free.

I would recommend to go in the afternoon, and if possible on a sunny day...this way you would be lucky to stand inside one of the most impressive spaces made by men, and see the effect of sunlight change the interior dome .

Looking at the portico and the columns made of a single piece of granite, and to think they've been standing up for over 2000 years sure is amazing.

The building is still used as a Catholic Church and you might be lucky to experience a celebration there.

  6. My oldest daughter and I went to Rome in March of last year to celebrate her 18th birthday and The Pantheon was my absolute favorite place, mainly because its over 2000 years old and looks marvelous. I believe admission is free, as was the Forum back then, but Ive heard recently that the Forum is now charging to walk down inside.

Incredible beautiful city...We didnt want to leave <3

    Hope this helps.
