  2. Well, unreserved via Shinkansen and Thunderbird trains it's 9200 - 9490 Yen (journey time 3 hrs 41 mins with 2 changes).

    Or, much better, by unreserved direct Shirasagi train it's 6200 Yen (journey time 2 hrs 39 mins with 0 changes).

    Or with a reservation for the above train it's about another 300 Yen.
