This depends on the professor works - if in a state or particular university - and which is the grade of learning, if undergraduated, master or doctor degree.

I think that, for  the lowest scenary (a undergraduated level in a cheap university), about 2,000 dollars/month.

For a doctoral orientation for thesis in a high level state university, no more than 15,000 dollar/month. But, is necessary an aproval in a public selection among thousand of  other professors.

My aunt teaches in PUCRS which is a pretty good school and makes about 5 dollars a month
