Most insurances will pay in full, due to fact that there will not be in baby cost later. You can check around there are places that just do that.

Less than one month of child support.  Last year my friend got one for about $600.  I hear the going price is between $600 and $1000 if you pay cash.  If you have insurance it is usually covered for about $50.

I had mine back in 1989.  I paid only $250.

It was worth every penny, and I would do it again if I had to.

There is another cost. About 40% of your ejaculate volume and the risk of chronic pain after the procedure which can affect your s*x life.

See this reference from the American Urologic Association: “Post-vasectomy pain syndrome is a chronic pain syndrome that follows vasectomy. The cause of this syndrome and its incidence are unclear. It is generally treated with anti-inflammatory agents. Occasionally, patients will elect to undergo vasectomy reversal in an attempt to alleviate this syndrome. Unfortunately, the response to surgical intervention is unpredictable.” It goes on to say that ejaculation and o****m are not affected by vasectomy with this caveat, “The only exception to this is the occasional patient who has developed post-vasectomy pain syndrome.”

If you end up with chronic pain the most effective treatment (vasectomy reversal) costs around $5000 to $10,000 and is not covered by insurance.
