The cheaper one requires a one year contract for IM and texting. The cost is $9.99 per month and you must pay for a year, that includes 5,000 incoming and 5,000 outgoing texts and unlimited IM.

The $150 one has no contract or monthly charge, but you cannot text. You just use a wireless internet connection at home (or wherever there is free wifi) for IM service only.
