It varies from one company to a next. The amount of damage involved, your driving history (tickets) and school grades would play into that.

In my state, the rate increases about 40% for an at fault accident.  If multicar, it will be the only the rate of the car you primarily use.  If you are only an occasional operator, it may not go up at all.  The best person to ask is your insurance agent.  They will be able to give you the rate on the renewal (or a good estimate).

In NY, 15-20% for 3 years sur-charge but it is best to ask your current agent. They should be able to supply the information you are asking for.
